Skittles Science Project
Now s the fun part make patterns.
Skittles science project. Pour enough warm water to cover the skittles and the plate itself. You can count the colors and record it for different bags of skittles. Check how the dye of the skittles runs into the water. Setting up this skittles experiment is a cinch.
You want to empty out your skittles and check out the colors. Carefully pour water into the container if the skittles move just push them back into place quickly. Next lay out your plates in an area where they won t be disturbed. Who knew the science to be learned from a pack of skittles and a little warm water.
Pour a small amount of hot water in the middle of the plate just enough so that the water touches the candies. Put the skittles in a circle in the order of colors in a rainbow red orange yellow green purple on a white plate. Plate preferably white warm water. We decided to get a little creative and add an artistic element to our skittles science experiment.
Place your skittles or sweets into a white container try to alternate the colours. Cool science for kids. This skittles experiment is super simple and the results are fascinating.
